Brand BASICKS: A Tokyo-based fashion brand newly launched by Masanori Morikawa, the designer of CHRISTIAN DADA, who has long led the domestic brand mode scene. It is a unisex brand with the concept of "the circulation/outline of everyday wear." Based on basic designs, all items are sewn with white stitchwork, making the design visible within everyday wear by "circulating/outlining" it. By giving the existing white stitchwork the meaning of an outline, the brand creates new values similar to the ready-made philosophy in the art scene, proposing that "outlines" will continue to circulate regardless of changing trends and styles throughout any era.
