BASICKS is a fashion brand from Tokyo. It is the latest creation by Masanori Morikawa, designer of CHRISTIAN DADA, who has been a leader in the domestic fashion scene for many years. It is a unisex brand with the brand concept of "circulating/outlining everyday clothing." Based on basic designs, all pieces are sewn with white stitching, and by "circulating/outlining," the design is made visible within everyday clothing. By giving the meaning of outline to the white stitching that is also present in existing designs, BASICKS creates new values similar to the readymade idea of the art scene, proposing that "outlines" should remain constant and circulate, no matter how trends and styles change over the years. |
