Product Description
Brand BASICKS. A fashion brand from Tokyo. Newly launched by Masanori Morikawa, the designer of CHRISTIAN DADA, who has led the domestic mode scene for many years. A unisex brand with the concept of "Circulation/Outlining of Everyday Wear." Based on basic designs, all garments are sewn with white stitching, visualizing design within everyday wear by "circulating/outlining" it. By imbuing the white stitching—already present in existing designs—with the meaning of an "outline," the brand creates new values similar to the readymade philosophy in the art scene, proposing that while trends and styles may change over time, the "outline" continues to circulate unchanged.
