BASICKS is a fashion brand from Tokyo. It is a new unisex brand created by Masanori Morikawa, the designer of CHRISTIAN DADA, who has led the domestic brand's fashion scene for many years. The brand concept is "Circulation / Outlining of Everyday Wear." Based on basic designs, all garments are sewn with white stitching, visualizing the design within everyday wear by "circulating / outlining" it. By giving the existing white stitching the meaning of an outline, the brand creates new values, similar to the concept of readymade in the art scene. It proposes that the "outline" will continue to circulate unchanged, regardless of trends or styles. |
