BASICKS

BASICX is a fashion brand from Tokyo. It is the latest initiative of Masanori Morikawa, the designer of CHRISTIAN DADA, a leader in the domestic fashion scene for many years. It is a unisex brand with the brand concept of "circulating/outlining everyday clothing." Based on basic designs, all pieces are sewn with white stitching, and by "circulating/outlining," the design is made visible within everyday clothing. By giving the meaning of outline to the white stitching that is also present in existing designs, the brand creates new values ​​similar to the readymade philosophy of the art scene, proposing that "outlines" should remain constant and circulate, no matter how trends and styles change over the years.
